group 1
Q: Can the user somehow change the incorporated event set?
A: If you mean the crashes, the database is updatable and there's a define set of operations to integrate new data from the website. If you mean the events in the event panel in the application, those are built in the application.

group 2
Q: is there a particular meaning to show month's charting from october to september? and why the x axis are not aligned when comparing 2 states?
A: No, that was a mistake I hadn't notice, months should start on january I guess.. what do you mean by x axis not aligned? They are the same for both barcharts as far as I can tell.

group 3
Q: Did total number of crashes relate to graphs or map?
A: Both, they are relative to the same filter.

group 4
Q: Can you compare states with national data?
A: No, unfortunately our application doesn't support that (strictly speaking, it wasn't a requirement)

group 5
Q: Did the pie chart clusters' values change when the map is panned?
A: Yes, in real time and analyzing the complete dataset in an efficient way.

group 6
Q: Does your graph show data to county level?
A: Our graphs show the data filtered by the filter box on the left and relative to the currently selected state.

group 7
Q: Why does your map show no distinct locations for particular accidents? Doesn't grid based clustering defy the purpose of the map since it doesn't show the exact location of accidents?
A: You are confusing clusters with accidents, accidents are plotted in their exact location as you would expect. Clusters, by their very nature, don't have an exact location and a grid based layout is as good and efficient approach in our opinion.

group 8
Q: how can we compare two different states in the application?
A: Simply select two different states in the barcharts and then decide which variable to compare them against. You can compensate for population, too (Per Capita button)

group 10
Q: why didn't you change the axis for both charts at the same time?
A: because you can select the same state on both charts, and in that case you would want to see two different variables. This makes it more powerful and flexible.
